This roof replacement was completed by East Fork Roofing mid-January of 2017. It was for one side of a duplex in Reno, NV.
To begin, East Fork removed and hauled away the older roofing materials (which consisted of 3 layers). Next, new OSB sheathing was installed over the exterior insulation and ice and water shield was applied to the flat portion of the roof. Unpainted metal drip-edge was next and then 15 lb felt. On the sloped portions of the roof new composition shingles were applied and on the flat area, a new torch applied roofing material.
The new shingles were chosen by the client. In this case they were made by Malarkey and were in the color scheme called “Weathered Wood”.
