Today's featured roof was replaced by East Fork Roofing, LLC at the beginning of February 2017 in Sparks, NV. It had higher slopes than average as well as a flat area, so there was a lot of variety.
First, the old roofing materials were removed and taken away by East Fork Roofing. Then, the wooden structures underneath were inspected and it was seen that a few pieces of plywood needed to be replaced. East Fork easily took care of that and was then able to move on to installing 15 lb felt and new 30 year shingles on the sloped areas and the torch applied roofing system on the flat area.
The shingles this client chose are from Malarkey Highlander in the color blend named "Heather". Click on the “Laminated Architectural Shingles” button, then “Highlander Shingle Line” and then click on the “Heather” image). The drip-edge was left unpainted as requested, leaving a metallic look.
