Today's featured roof was replaced in Sparks, NV at the beginning of March of 2017. It was done by the replacement specialists at East Fork Roofing, LLC. This job included a mix of new composition shingles for the sloped portions of the roof and a new torch-applied roofing system for the flat portion.
The shingles were made by Malarkey Highlander in the color scheme of “Weathered Wood”. These shingles were composed of granules mixed together of mostly grey bits with smaller amounts of slate-blue and beige. The resulting color effect is grey and the value reads as medium. (You can see it for yourself here on Malarkey’s website: https://malarkeyroofing.com/shingle-color-selector. Click on the “Laminated Architectural Shingles” button, then "Highlander Shingle Line", and then click on the “Weathered Wood” color swatch). For the drip-edge, the client chose brown metal.
This roof is covered not only by Malarkey's manufacturer's warranty, but by East Fork Roofing's 5-year service warranty as well.
