Today's featured roof replacement was completed by East Fork Roofing, LLC in Sparks, NV near the end of June. They started by removing and disposing of the old composition shingles. Next, they inspected the wood and structures underneath for defects. Everything was in order, so they went on to install charcoal metal drip-edge, 30 lb felt (an upgrade from the standard of 15 lb), and new 40-year composition shingles.
Midnight Black was the shingle color chosen by the client. The shingles were made by Malarkey and are part of their Highlander line, which comes with a 130 mph wind warranty.
