Since 2005, East Fork Roofing has been Northern Nevada’s roof replacement specialist serving the community with quality service. As a family owned and operated roofing company in Reno NV, we take pride in our work and strive to keep a reputation of quality, honesty, and integrity. In addition to our strong company values, East Fork Roofing is a roofing company that offers a number of features that set us apart from other roofing companies in Reno, NV.
Scenario-Based Proposals
Our roof replacement process begins with a unique proposal designed to provide a highly-detailed quote, in as little as 72 hours, without the hassle of having to meet with us for a site visit. Unlike other roofing Reno contractors, who require a site visit to be able to quote the project, East Fork Roofing has a sophisticated estimating system that allows us to quote the roof replacement before visiting the site. We have developed a thorough, multi-step proposal process that is customized to each customer, yet still time efficient.
The first step of our process is to measure every aspect of the roof using specialized aerial-imagery software. In addition to recording these measurements, we also conduct a risk and scenario analysis. Based on a combination of this data, East Fork Roofing company Reno, NV is able to generate a roof replacement proposal which outlines the base cost and pricing for specific scenarios that may apply to your individual project.
Once the proposal has been accepted by the customer and down payment has been made, the next step is to conduct a “planning inspection.” East Fork Roofing will send out the foreman who will be responsible for executing the project and they will perform this inspection. The experienced foreman will complete an in-depth analysis and determine if any of the proposed scenarios apply. In addition, the foreman will plan the details of the execution of the project including a project safety plan, property protection plan, building code evaluation, and trash removal plan. Most other Reno roofing contractors do not create this plan until the day of execution or just fly by the seat of their pants.
The next step is the plan review by our scheduler, together with the project manager. This second pair of eyes is key in ensuring customer satisfaction.
The final step in this process is a review of the plan with the customer. We believe this is the most important part, which many of our competitors leave out. Our customers really appreciate this step of the process because it allows them to know, in detail, how we plan to execute the proposed project, seek clarification and give input. These last two steps are what excites our customers most because most tradespeople do not communicate details.
There is one last step, which is not actually part of the proposal process, but is key to the difference we represent. At the end of the project, the same Foreman who completed the planning inspection, completes a quality inspection. This is completed to ensure the project was executed as agreed. We call this our closed-loop quality process.
Gimmick-Free Financing
East Fork Roofing offers financing in the form of traditional interest loans. We prefer to use an outside finance company because they are financing experts and your financing remains private between you and the finance company. Most of our Reno roofing competitors either don’t offer financing or offer gimmicky financing.
Why do we only offer traditional interest financing? The short answer is that it does not add hidden costs to the project in the form of dealer fees.
In order to better understand the answer, we need to understand how financing including gimmicky (hidden cost) financing works.
Traditional interest financing looks like a loan with a fixed term, a fixed interest rate, and a fixed monthly payment. There are no surprises. There are also no dealer fees, meaning that there is no cost to us to offer them to you.
Gimmicky financing looks like 1 year same as cash or 0% interest or other offers that sound good at face value. The key to identifying gimmicky financing is the sleight of hand used to distract you away from the total price difference. Sometimes these types of finance programs actually save you money. Most of the time they do not. Here is how it works: Finance companies make money on interest. By offering, for example, a 0% interest for a year loan, the amount of money that a finance company makes would be reduced if they did not recover the money somewhere else. They recover the money for this reduction in interest rate by charging it back to the contractor in a reduction in the amount that they pay the contractor when the loan is finalized. This is done at a premium, meaning that the cost charged back to the contractor is higher than the amount saved to the customer by offering the loan. To offer this type of loan, the roofer has to either absorb the cost or build those costs into the price offered. These added costs are typically hidden by offering you more roof than you need in the form of unnecessary upgraded underlayments, warranties that will never be needed or used, or roofs that last longer than you will live.
The biggest reason why we don’t offer this type of financing is because we have not found a way to offer them without having high-pressure salespeople on our staff.

Free Cancellations
At East Fork Roofing, we understand that replacing a roof is an investment and requires serious consideration in terms of choosing the right company for the job. When searching for a roofing company in Reno and Northern Nevada areas, most people don’t get just one quote. Many people shop for different quotes and don’t want to get locked into a contract before they are sure. Because some of our competitors can take up to 30 days or longer to quote a roof and availability of project dates changes daily, waiting for 2 or 3 other quotes, puts the customer at a significant disadvantage to reserving the best date at the best price. To allow customers to commit with confidence, East Fork Roofing company in Reno offers free cancellation on all our projects.
With our free cancellation policy, each customer is able to receive a quote, book a project date, and then have the option to cancel within 10 days of the start date. Our goal is customer satisfaction, and this policy enables customers to reserve a date without feeling locked in and cancel the project for any reason. We always want to make sure East Fork Roofing is the right fit for your Reno roofing project, budget, and schedule.
Mobile Home Roofing Reno Specialists
Another factor that sets East Fork Roofing apart from our competitors is our licensure in mobile home roof replacements. Nevada law requires a special license for any contractor to be authorized to do any work on a manufactured or mobile home. We are licensed by the state of Nevada Manufactured Housing Division to service mobile homes.
Also, most mobile homes have roofs which are lower slope than standard homes. For this reason, most mobile home roofs are actually more expensive than standard home roofs because they require specialized materials and methods to protect against the higher likelihood of leaking. Also, mobile homes are not permitted to have a second layer of roofing installed due to weight restrictions inherent in manufactured homes.
