They came out quickly to give me an estimate, did an... urgent temporary repair and a month later did the final repair on a roof leak above my garage. The entire process from start to finish was very... simple and their entire staff in all divisions were very helpful. They quoted 7-10 days to replace my roof and they were done in the specified time. The installers cleaned up their work daily and were very respectful of my property. The sent me photos and updates of the progress as well as answering any and all questions I had during the install. I had an additional question after the final inspection and their staff was still very responsive to me and not only emailed me but called to assist me. I contacted East Fork last spring (2019) for a quote along with 4 other local companies. Only 3 out of the 5 roofing companies called me back. Of the 3, East Fork came in at the lowest price,... beating the others by 3k and 8k respectively. East Fork did not try to up-sale me into anything I did not need like the others. They provided direct quotes with tentative work dates within days. Unlike the other 2 that took weeks. Once the work was started the crews worked much quicker then I anticipated. What we scheduled as a 5 day job took only 3. All exterior grounds were cleaned properly and measures were taken to protect any plants in the work area. Updates/Photo's on the project were provided daily via email, which was great since I was over 400+ miles away when work was being done. All I can say is this roofing company is awesome and I would recommend them to anyone. Don't waste your time with other roofers, by the time you get a quote these guys could be done and will beat their price anyway!!read more

I chose this company to replace my roof because of the reviews I read online. I had never heard of East Fork. I got 4 different estimates and they were also the least expensive. That part made me a... bit nervous, because you know what they say "you get what you pay for". Well after speaking with the women in the office...all detail oriented, knowledgeable and then nice and friendly to boot, what else can you ask for? Then the guys who actually did the work, Garret the foreman and Aaron have got to be the most patient, easy going guys. Any concern I had, they stopped, smiled and answered in detail.I could see they took pride in their work, and then they swept and cleaned up every night before leaving. I almost want to say they are the face of the company since that is who you see and deal with for a week. But Linda and Jessica are just as important since they are the conduit between custumer and owner. From office to jobsite this company is about quality, service and detail.I just had one hiccup. I had asked if I could dispose of a bunch of branches sitting on the side of my house since last summer...long story short, that issue was easily resolved, but I must admit I was nervous. So FYI! Don't dispose of personal stuff until the job is done.read more

I contacted 5 different contractors to replace the roof on our Galena rental. Being in real estate I know how terribly busy everyone is with the building boom in our community. 4 out of the 5... contractors had to meet me at the property to personally inspect, but East Fork is digital so they capture pictures of the roof remotely and then assess the situation on the ground. They not only gave me the quickest estimate, but it turned out to be the lowest estimate in one case by $5,000. Their staff is professional and quick to respond. We agreed to commence work just after the first of the year and they were prompt even with the bad weather that hindered their work. They also addressed my tenant's concerns and cleaned up their work area quickly so that nails and debris were not left in the yard. I received remote pictures of the progress and then the finished product. I would highly recommend their services and I will definitely use them again.read more

Odd to give a roofer such high marks, but as a business, a service provider, and knowledge of the product, East Fork Roofing is solid.I've known I needed to replace the roof on a rental. I live... out of the area, have a property manager and I ask a lot of questions. We got 3 bids as is typical. We look for the best value, not the cheapest, because we want our tenants happy and the work to be done right, once.A couple of things that really worked for me:1) EFR does a 2 step bid. The 1st is via satellite image and the 2nd, if accepted, is done on site. I talked to Mike D extensively about this and it really makes sense to keep their costs in line and service high. I even had my contractor preview the eaves etc. before having their on-site inspection done and the findings were identical.2) They over communicate and are systematic (Jacky rocks!). I liked this because at each step of the way they had a plan, they shared the plan, and they worked the plan. Any changes to the plan were discussed and agreed to. (I am not used to this level of service with most contractors. Yet, it is the way it's supposed to be and I like it.)3) They know their product and helped redirect me to the optimal product for our property. We discussed light tile roofs, architectural tiles, a metal roof, a roof fan, new base plywood sheathing etc. I even asked if they installed the overlaps and troughs according to the manufacture's standards (that I saw on youtube). Because we got 3 proposals and we searched the web, it was easy to verify their info. They were spot on accurate on all fronts. My questions (over multiple calls) were welcomed, and they were honest about what roof work they do well and best and what kind of roof work they would want to pass on. I liked their candor.4) They photograph the work in progress. I wanted to be on site. After day 1's summary, there was no need. I could see the demo, the plywood work, the sheathing, the shingles install. In addition, this roof had a really tricky over hang limiting access. And yes, they figured out how to do it. It looks great and better yet.... it works with no issue. (read item 3). (my friend in Reno checked their work. After day 2, there was no longer a need for my friend to drop by and check things out.)5) After all this I was concerned about the price..... good news, they are clear about pricing...... before starting work! Having worked with a lot of change orders and contractor surprises, these guys were straight. (read item 2). And No surprises. They knew what I needed for the roof and priced it accordingly - with confidence.Roofing is a tricky business. I know there are other good roofers in Reno. I've interviewed them. But for the other 2 roofs I have to do over the next year, I am going with Mike and team. They they run a solid & predictable business process, the roof looks great and more importantly, I don't expect to have to do anything with the roof again for 40 years.Nice Job East Fork Roofing.read more
